The Belgrade Integrated Waste Management Project (Beo Čista Energija) is a landmark public-private partnership under a 25-year concession agreement with the City of Belgrade, delivering modern, integrated waste management for the region.
Developed from the ground up in collaboration with the government and international financial institutions, the project processes approximately 600,000 tonnes of municipal waste annually. Its energy-from-waste facility treats around 340,000 tonnes per year, generating clean energy for approximately 10% of households in Belgrade.
The project also encompasses construction and demolition waste recycling, sanitary landfill operations, and the closure and remediation of the existing landfill. Full operations commenced in 2024.
